"I think she is supposed to announce her decision this afternoon pa," Robredo's daughter Aika posted in her Twitter account mid-Friday.
She posted the tweet as a response to a news report which claimed that her mother has decided to accept offers from her husband's allies to seek Rep. Luis Villafuerte Sr.'s seat in Congress.
Villafuerte is serving out his last term and will be running for Camarines Sur governor against his grandson Miguel Villafuerte.
Earlier Friday, the Robredo widow posted via her Twitter account: "Can't believe this is happening."
Reports of her congressional bid come amid calls for her to join politics and to even run as senator, following the highly publicized death of her husband.
Jesse Robredo died in a plane crash off the island of Masbate Aug. 18, along with two pilots.
The Robredo widow, meanwhile, has agreed to head the Liberal Party in Camarines Sur at the prodding of President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and newly appointed Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel "Mar" Roxas.
Robredo has also delayed plans to join the judiciary to focus on the LP campaign for the midterm elections in 2013, reports said.
This, after the Judicial and Bar Council shortlisted Robredo for Regional Trial Court judge in Bicol a few days after her husband's funeral.
Robredo had also earlier reportedly asked the JBC to instead give her a post in Quezon City, where she intends to reside with her three daughters.
