Maja feels she has chemistry with Enchong

type='html'>MANILA, Philippines - Actress Maja Salvador said she's lucky to have her friend Enchong Dee as her newest leading man for ABS-CBN's newest series "Ina Kapatid Anak."

"Si Enchong ay nanggaling sa isang successful na love team at ngayon ay nabigyan naman kami ng chance na magkatrabaho together. 'Yun nga sinasabi namin sa isa't isa na ayaw kong makipag-compete doon sa past na love team niya. Kung ano lang 'yung kaya naming ibigay, 'yun lang ang ibibigay namin," Salvador said during a press conference for the new primetime drama, which will premiere on Monday, October 8.

Salvador also believes that she will enjoy working on the project because Dee is her good friend in real life.

"Grabe kasi ang friendship namin ni Enchong. Hindi ba kapag magkaibigan kayo tapos ay magkatrabaho kayo, kahit paano ay may chemistry naman kayo," Salvador said.

But as early as now, Salvador doused all speculations that Dee would help heal her broken heart after her recent break up with actor and athlete Matteo Guidicelli.

"Kahit wala pong Enchong eh wala na pong lamat," Salvador said.

In a previous interview with "KrisTV," Salvador admitted that Dee had a crush her when they were younger.

However, according to Dee, they realized that they are better off as friends.
Currently, Dee is wooing "Walang Hanggan" star Julia Montes.
